I’ve had the absolute best experience with cordwood BBQ! i went for the first time with my fiance, and it is now our new go to spot! we shared an order of the tofu bao buns and the chicken run mac bowl ! aside from the amazing food, the staff is spectacular! working in the michigan heat, mixed with all the crowds and especially with the smoky air conditions we’ve had, it is for sure not easy. despite all this they never made that dull our experience, like im sure we’ve all had with many places we’ve been to. we will definitely be back! 🤎

Cordwood BBQ is hands down one of the best food trucks around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The brisket is incredibly tender, the pulled pork is smoky and juicy, and the mac and cheese is absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or catering an event, you can tell they put a lot of pride into everything they serve. If you’re looking for amazing BBQ in Traverse City, Cordwood BBQ is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!

Best brisket in town! The brisket was perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with flavor. Their mac and cheese was absolutely delicious and the perfect side. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was outstanding! everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for great BBQ and an awesome experience, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

Decided to try this place for the first time. Had high hopes and expectations but the food was very dry. No flavor and the coleslaw was inedible so was the potato salad. Absolutely! Zero flavor and a waste of money. On top of it I went to exchange the coleslaw for the potato salad because the coleslaw was very gross and either the owner or the employee of this food truck rudely picks up my coleslaw that's on the counter and slams it back down in front of me and says I can't take that back. You can throw it away when clearly there's a trash can right behind her. She has absolutely no hospitality skills and should not be in this industry if she can't smile while she does her job and takes care of her guests that pay her salary. Do not recommend this place and a complete waste of money. Plenty of other options in this fleet. And great hospitality by the other food truck employees. They even say hi as you walk by of course and smile which is an attraction to say hey." Come try my truck. " Unfortunately with this truck with the barbecue, absolutely no personality.

The meal was fine, but it was nothing to write home about. The meal came piping hot, and the boy at the front was super friendly, great customer service. The flavor of the food itself fell flat. Presentation wise, it looks great, but the Mac n cheese was very liquid, and the meat was nothing worth noting. For the price, it was a bit disappointing.
